There will be a Rally to Support the Troops on Dec 3, 9 AM at the War Memorial located at 82nd St and Nashville in Huneke Park Lubbock. This rally is non-political, Just Say Thank You to The Troops, Thank You For Your Service and is one of forty to be held by www.moveamericaforward.org on their caravan tour across the US from CA to NY and on to Iraq to deliver Holiday cards and gifts. It is their Honoring Heroes Holiday Tour. On Dec 14 they will have an entertainment event in Washington DC at the Lincoln Theatre for our wounded soldiers from Walter Reed and Bethesda.
This is the second cross country tour MAF has done and the second trip to Iraq. Let's make sure that Lubbock is one of the biggest and best rallies on the Tour.
